    — Seattle 6, LA Angels 4— Mitch Haniger knocked in 5 runs for Seattle.
    — Toronto 10, Baltimore 1— Blue Jays hit five home runs, stay alive.
    — Tampa Bay 12, New York 2— Lowe homered three times for Rays.
    — Boston 5, Washington 3— Red Sox scored four runs in ninth inning.
    — San Diego 3, San Francisco 2 (10)— Giants lead NL West by a game.
    — Los Angeles 8, Milwaukee 3— Urias wins his 20th game.

    13) Cincinnati 24, Notre Dame 13:
    — 4-0 Bearcats were 2.5-point favorites in this game.
    — Cincinnati led 17-0 at halftime.
    — This score will put coach Fickell on top of USC’s search list, but with Cincinnati joining the Big X, is USC really a better job?

    12) Kentucky 20, Florida 13
    — Gators had won 16 games in row in Lexington- their last loss at UK was in 1986.
    — Kentucky returned a blocked FG for a TD.

    11) Clemson 19, Boston College 13:
    — Tigers win, but they continue to struggle on offense.
    — Clemson converted only 3-14 third down plays.
    — Clemson did run for 231 yards, but completed only 13-28 passes.
    — Last three games, Clemson scored only 18 ppg.

    10) Stanford 31, Oregon 24 OT:
    — Oregon’s OC/play-caller missed game (non-virus illness)
    — Cardinal scored TD on last play of regulation to force OT.
    — Stanford led 17-7 at halftime.
    — Oregon ran for 228 yards, completed only 14-26 passes.

    9) Auburn 24, LSU 19:
    — LSU led 13-0 with 5:00 left before halftime.
    — Auburn outscored LSU 10-0 in 4th quarter.
    — Auburn outrushed LSU, 163-32, averaging 5.6 yards/rush.

    8) Wake Forest 37, Louisville 34:
    — Wake kicked 29-yard FG at 0:00 for the win.
    — Louisville tied game on 75-yard pass with 3:01 left.
    — Deacons are 5-0; will big $$$ school hire coach Clawson?

    7) Upsets of the Week:
    — Navy (+15) 34, Central Florida 30
    — Temple (+11) 34, Memphis 31
    — Middle Tennessee (+11) 34, Marshall 28

    6) Nevada 41, Boise State 31:
    — Wolf Pack had lost six in row, 16 of last 17 games vs Boise.
    — Boise threw 48 passes, ran only 22 times; they were -3 in turnovers.

    5) Oregon State 27, Washington 24:
    — Beavers beat Washington for first time in ten years.
    — OSU was -2.5 in this game; previous six series games, they were a double digit underdog.
    — I’m guessing the fanbase in Washington isn’t real happy.

    4) Michigan 38, Wisconsin 17:
    — Jim Harbaugh is now 1-11 SU at Michigan when an underdog (4-8 ATS)
    — 5-0 Wolverines outgained Wisconsin 365-210.
    — Badgers are 1-3, scoring 13.3 ppg in their losses.
    — Michigan had lost its previous five visits to Madison.
    — Wisconsin is 1-3 for first time since 1990.

    3) Florida State 33, Syracuse 30:
    — Seminoles blew 30-20 lead in 4th quarter, kicked FG at the gun.
    — First win of season for FSU; powers-that-be can’t be very happy.

    2) Oklahoma 37, Kansas State 31:
    — Oklahoma is 5-0: their I-A wins are by 5-7-3-6 points.
    — K-State outgained Sooners, 420-393, ran kick back for a TD.
    — Only 7 of Oklahoma’s 60 plays came on 3rd down.

    1) Arizona State 42, UCLA 23:
    — Sun Devils outscored UCLA 18-0 in second half.
    — Under Herm Edwards, ASU is 7-2 ATS as road underdogs.
    — Game ended at 2am; have to sleep fast, before the NFL games start.
