Even though Washington clearly likes to play against the Nuggets in Denver, I consider the visitors as massive underdogs in this one. The Wizards do have one of the fastest and highest-scoring offenses in the NBA, but Denver managed to control better teams than Washington. The Nuggets kept the Celtics, Rockets, and Nets under 100 points at Pepsi Center. Although Denver had an off game when they allowed 125 points to the Atlanta Hawks, I am backing them to get a comfortable victory here. Nikola Jokic had just eight points in a win over the Suns, and he will bounce back in this one with a possible triple-double performance. Denver has more individuals who can decide the game, which was evident in a win over Phoenix when Jokic wasn't very useful on offense. Millsap, Barton, and Murray all stepped up, and there is no doubt three of them will play a big part on Tuesday as well.

Chicago couldn’t even muster a decent offensive effort against the Warriors. Do you really think they’re somehow going to flip the switch against a better Kings team on the road? LaVine can’t carry the load by himself, and something clearly isn’t right with Markkanen. I’m taking the Kings to get the win and continue to roll on Monday.

Washington’s defense failed to show up again in their loss to Orlando Tuesday night at home. The Wizards entered Wednesday fourth in the Southeast Division, 8.5 games behind the Heat for the top spot. Washington trailed by six after the opening quarter and by 14 at the half: they rallied to lead 75-74 with 8:14 to play in the third quarter. The Wizards quickly gave up a 9-2 run over the next 2:04 to trail 83-77 and wouldn’t get closer than two the rest of the way. Washington shot 50.6 percent from the field, including 12 of 35 from three-point range, but allowed Orlando to hit 51.1 percent from the floor in the contest. Bradley Beal led the Wizards with 42 points in the loss
