The Clippers might not be as bad as some think, but this isn’t exactly the best matchup for them. Gortat can’t guard centers like Embiid who play primarily outside the paint and they don’t have anyone who can guard Ben Simmons. This is a big problem for them. The Clippers effective field goal percentage of 53 percent tells us they are a better shooting team than their 47 percent from the field indicates. That being said they still have no answer for Embiid and Simmons. The game should be close for about three quarters and Philly will pull away.

The Atlanta Hawks are bad enough defensively to where they're going to lose ugly games to some good teams. The problem is I'm still on the fence with the Charlotte Hornets being even a slightly above average team, as this club was pegged as a lottery team before the season. I don't like laying big chalk with subpar teams. The Hawks have enough offensive firepower to hang around in this contest.
