— Contending Twins signed free agent pitcher Bartolo Colon, who shunned the Mets.

Road chalk is covering at a 72 percent clip on the hardwood for lady hoops and is an even more impressive 22-7 ATS in the last 29 instances - a 76 percent win rate. Road teams overall are 53-38-2 ATS (57 percent) this year.

Road favorites are making a bundle for WNBA bettors so far in 2017, boasting a 26-10 record against the spread heading into Friday's action.

Road chalk is covering at a 72 percent clip on the hardwood for lady hoops and is an even more impressive 22-7 ATS in the last 29 instances - a 76 percent win rate. Road teams overall are 53-38-2 ATS (57 percent) this year.

Friday's schedule has two games on the board and both feature the road team laying the points: The Indiana Fever are giving 1.5 points to the hosts Atlanta Dream while the San Antonio Stars are getting 10.5 points from the visiting Phoenix Mercury. The Mercury are just 2-2 ATS as road favorites while the Fever are 2-0 as away chalk this season.
