    Armadillo: Friday's six-pack

    — Washington SS Trea Turner broke his wrist Thursday, will be out for several weeks.

    — Astros won 8 of their last 11 games; they got 6 innings from their starting pitcher in only one of the 11 games.

    — After the Chris Paul trade this week, Houston Rockets dropped from 30-1 to 15-1 to win the 2018 NBA title; Clippers went from 40-1 to 100-1.

    — White Sox walked Aaron Judge intentionally with bases empty and 2 out in top of 7th last night, with Chicago nursing a 4-3 lead. Next batter (Gregorius) grounded out on the first pitch.

    — Aaron Rodgers helped his partner win $100,000 on the gameshow $100,000 Pyramid this week. Michael Strahan hosts that show.

    — No Surprise Dept: Knicks spelled first round draft pick Frank Ntilikina’s name wrong on his practice jersey for the Orlando summer league. Oy

    Armadillo: Friday's Den: NFL trends to ponder as June ends…….

    Cardinals:
    — Arizona is 14-9 vs spread as an underdog under Arians (1-3 LY)
    — Redbirds are 10-5 in last 15 games as a road favorite.
    — Cardinals were 5-2-1 LY when gaining 350+ total yards, 2-6 when they did not.

    Falcons:
    — Over was 13-2-1 in their games LY; they scored 30+ points in six of eight home games- their last 12 games in 2015 stayed under.
    — Atlanta is 9-3 vs spread as an underdog under Quinn.
    — Falcons made Super Bowl LY after being an underdog in four of their first five games.

    Ravens:
    — Baltimore lost their last six road games LY, finishing 8-8 after a 3-0 start.
    — Since 2013, Ravens are 3-7-2 vs spread as a road favorite.
    — Baltimore is 0-7 vs spread the week before playing the Steelers.

    Bills:
    — Buffalo has its fifth head coach in eight years; they haven’t made the playoffs since 1999.
    — Over was 10-2 in their last 12 games LY.
    — Last three years, underdogs are 15-7-2 vs spread in Buffalo’s road games.

    Panthers:
    — Since 2013, Carolina is 15-8-2 vs spread as a home favorite- they’re 15-9 as favorites of more than 3 points.
    — Panthers are 5-12 as road favorites under Ron Rivera.
    — Cam Newton’s shoulder is the most important question for Carolina; is he healthy?

    Bears:
    — Chicago was 55-57 while Jay Cutler was in Chicago; now he’s a TV analyst.
    — Last five years, over is 26-14 in Bears’ road games.
    — Chicago is 6-9 vs spread in home divisional games; they last made playoffs in 2010.

    Bengals:
    — Under was 8-2 in Bengals’ last 10 games LY, 6-2 in their last eight games in 2015.
    — Since 2008, Cincy is 14-6-1 vs spread as a home underdog.
    — Bengals were 6-9-1 LY, after being 52-27-1 from 2011-15- their last playoff win? 1990.

    Browns:
    — Cleveland is 6-20 against the spread in its last 26 games.
    — Since 2013, Browns are 4-9 vs spread as a favorite.
    — Cleveland is 1-17 in season openers; their last winning season was in 2007.

    Cowboys:
    — Since 2009, Dallas is 23-13 vs spread as a road underdog.
    — Under Jason Garrett, Dallas is 13-29 as a home favorite; 5-12 vs NFC East foes, 8-17 vs everyone else.
    — Cowboys were -22 in turnovers in 2015; last year, with a rookie QB playing, they were +5.

    Broncos:
    — Since 2011, Denver is 20-10-1 vs spread as a road favorite; since ’12, they’re 21-13-1 as a home favorite.
    — Last six years, Broncos are 14-4 vs spread in AFC West road games; they were 0-3 last year.
    — Who is the QB? They have a new coach. Interesting year for the Broncos.

    Lions:
    — Their last playoff win was in 1991, 38-6 over the Cowboys.
    — Since 2012, Detroit is 8-17 vs spread on natural grass.
    — Since 2011, Lions are 3-8-1 vs spread as a home underdog.

    Packers:
    — Since 2010, Green Bay is 33-18-2 vs spread as a home favorite.
    — Packers are 11-7 in last 18 road games vs NFC North foes, 12-18 vs non-divisional opponents.
    — Since 2012, Green Bay is 7-14 vs spread on artificial turf.

    Texans:
    — O’Brien is supposed to be a QB guru, but he’ll have his 4th QB in four years this year.
    — Houston is 11-4-1 as a home favorite, 4-0 as a road favorite under O’Brien.
    — Texans were 5-0 last year in games decided by less than seven points.

    Colts:
    — Indy was 8-8 the last two years, after going 49-31 the five years before that.
    — Colts are 8-2 in last ten games as a home underdog, but were 0-2 last year.
    — Since 2012, Indy is 22-8-1 vs spread in game following a loss.

    Jaguars:
    — Since 2010 Jaguars are 11-27-2 as a home underdog.
    — Since 2012, over is 24-16 in Jacksonville road games.
    — Jags are 7-14 vs spread in games following their last 21 wins.

    Chiefs
    — Kansas City is 43-21 under Reid, but only 1-3 in playoff games.
    — Chiefs are 10-2 vs spread in last dozen AFC West road games.
    — Since 2006, KC is just 16-31-1 as a home favorite.
