Lets try and get a few winners on the college hardwood tonight.
Central Michigan vs Northern Illinois
The Huskies have been a beast at home this year where they are 11-0 and have won their games by an average of 21.2 ppg, while CMU has gone just 1-4 on the road and have been outscored by 8.3 ppg in the four road losses. Defense will be key here as the Huskies have allowed just 65.7 ppg at home, while CMU has given up a whopping 80.4 ppg on the road. The Huskies are the better team here and they play the much better defense, plus they have gone 7-1 ATS in their last 8 home games. Huskies by at least 8 in this one.
Play Northern Illinois -3 over Central Michigan
UNLV vs Utah State
The Rebels have not been a good team on the road this year, but I feel that ends tonight. They are the far better team in this one and are off two confidence building easy wins over Air Force (by 36) and New Mexico (by 12) and that should carry over to this road tilt vs a Utah State that has already lost to Boise State and San Diego State on this floor. The Rebels have allowed just 66.4 ppg in their last 5, while the Aggies have given up 75 ppg over that stretch. The UNLV defense that is getting better should be the difference in this one, plus they are a solid 12-4 AT their last 16 on the road. This one has UNLV 77-70 written all over it.
