FRIDAY 13TH NOVEMBER
TODAY'S PICKS – NBA
CLEVELAND – (COVER -6)
Cleveland has been undefeated since dropping their opening night road game in Chicago, although at times they have not always played impressive basketball, the Cavs haven't lost their ability to grind out close games in the 4th quarter. Tonight they meet a young, talented New York Knicks team that is playing with fresh vigor whilst enjoying having a fully fit and healthy Carmelo Anthony. Kyrie Irving remains a notable exclusion but tonight one thing that is certain, LeBron James loves the playing on the big stage and there is no bigger than Madison Square Garden. New York is 0-5 ATS in their last 5 games at home.
ATLANTA – (COVER -1)
The Atlanta Hawks (8-2) are still adjusting to the off-season loss of versatile forward DeMarre Carroll but do remain one of the top Eastern Conference teams, having not yet lost on the road this season. Today they travel to Boston who with their young roster have been heavily reliant on star PG Isaiah Thomas. Atlanta's big men will dominate the Celtics in the paint, meaning if all-star guard Jeff Teague can slow the offensive production of Boston's Thomas and the Hawks can make their own shots when the pressure is on, they will win the game. Boston is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games at home.
