Wayne I have no idea. Last year KState was riding high into this game and OK rolled them. I dont think I will bet or give an opinion here.

Starting to feel OK here if the pub is going to be on KState so big. 5-2 so far on KState. They dont matchup with OK well.

The strength of both teams offenses are what the other team struggles with on defense. Kansas State is not very good against the pass and OU has struggled against the run. Neither team has been impressive this year to me, with OU beating UTEP 24-7 and then a scrimmage with Florida A&M where you just can't tell a lot. Kansas State has struggled with Missouri State and North Texas and had a lopsided victory over Miami where a horrible Hurricane team repeatedly shot themselves in the foot.

Oklahoma gets Casey Walker back from a hiatus that will help them a bunch at defensive tackle. It will allow David King to slide back over to end where he is a much better player. OU's secondary has looked much improved with Mike Stoops back and simplifying things up a bit for them. Although like I said earlier, they haven't quite been tested by a USC or anything like that in the passing game. I'm not quite convinced Collin Klein will have any success throwing the ball against Oklahoma. Oklahoma has owned K-State for the most part and I look for that to continue Saturday.

I see a pretty tight ball game in the first half with OU blowing it open in the 2nd half much like last year between these two. 44-21 Sooners.

Nice write-up, KB. I exchanged score predictions with family and friends via email a day or two ago and mine was 45-27. OU has historically had some problems with mobile QBs but they had very little trouble with Klein last year in Manhattan. I don't know why that would change in Norman. K State's offense is pretty one-dimensional....so I'm not sure how they'll score 27 points come to think of it. Landry might throw a pick 6 though.

You're right. we really can't take much away from a demolition of FAMU. There were some encouraging offensive signs though from both the juco transfer running back and a very talented receiving corps who may have gained some confidence.

Dominique Whaley was a stud running back last year prior to a season-ending injury and now that he's back he's not even good enough to start...Damien Williams took his job.

OU's still pretty thin at both O-line and D-line.

Sooners had 2 weeks to prepare for this one also.
