Finals is 2-3-2 format. 2 of 3 at MIA will be tough.

The 2-3-2 format also is a big advantage for MIA I believe. If they steal one at OKC they may do what the Pistons did to the Lakers. Im on record for OKC, but Im nervous about it.

Does anyone know the reason they do the 2-3-2 format? Ive never heard it explained.

I think the 1st 2 games will decide it. If OKC gets up 2-0 I believe they will steal one of 3 at Miami. If Miami steals 1 of the first 2 I think they will win. So every game is huge starting Tuesday.

It is because of travel. Conference playoffs do not generally have the travel that the Finals do with East vs West Teams.

Ok. I just think it takes away from HC advantage a little bit. I swear I would almost like OKC better if they didnt have it.

Even though I predicted Ok City will win in four ore five games, in all honesty in terms of the overall potential of the Heat, I probably won't bet the series at -170 or very much if I do, the reason being that the line is pretty rich.
Sure it is easy to say that the Thunder is well rested whereas the Heat is coming off a grueling series, etc.
As we all know from the past though, this kind of logic doesn't always work.
The Heat have several tremendous players of their own who have a lot of experience also.
I probably will bet on the Thunder for individual games and bet them for the series if they lose a game along the way and the line comes down a bit to closer to 140 or even less.
I think the best spot to bet the Thunder would be in one of those games in Miami where they might be a dog.
