I'd like to make an argument for Love as they'd be a 10 win team without him, but in this day in age, if you don't make the playoffs, you can't win MVP...
I narrowly chose Durant over Kobe. Love is having a great year but admit it, after Rubio went down he can't lead them to anything.
Kobe is having one of the best years of his career and is carrying his team. Lebron can't be MVP because the last 5:00 of games still count. If there was an MVP for the first three quarters, the choke would win in a landslide
I thought long and hard about this one and i am actually the only one who voted Kobe. I think what he is doing through age and injuries is amazing. There have been a lot of guys coming and going on that team and he has been the one steady thing every night.
I love Durant but i honestly wonder sometimes if he is even the best player on his own team. I love Westbrook that much.
Lebron always puts up numbers but to me it is about more than simply numbers. Win a big game. He also has a pretty nice piece beside him in Wade too.
Love is deserving but as kb said, you can't finish that far back and be MVP IMO.
It's not Durant I can promise. He's like the scottie pippen of the bulls but he dont have a Michael Jordan to support him.
OKC got out scored 30-14 in the 4th qtr. Your nowhere near a MVP IMO if you cant put your team on your shoulders in the 4th qtr and carry them. Durant needs a big time player or else they stand no chance IMO
KD is not only the MVP he's the best player in the league. Over the last few years you could make the argument that Kobe was the most valuable player but not the best player. I think KD has truly stepped up this year and become a complete player. He's leading OKC on both ends of the floor not just putting up his meteoric scoring numbers.
No thrills, frills, spills or write-ups. Just givin ya the winners everyday.
