He would be a great add for the Lakers Jerry. I'm not saying he is a bad player but the question is, BEST PG in the NBA and he is simply not in that conversation. I don't think he is close and i havn't heard anybody else anywhere put him close to that class either.

Yeah i was trying to be that guy to throw a name out then he turn into a stud player.I really do think he can be top 5 i think he could be easily in the top 7-8 right now.I think if he gets traded to the lakers his value would shoot up and he would get alot more attentionOriginally posted by wayne1218 View PostHe would be a great add for the Lakers Jerry. They have a poll on ESPN asking which is more impressive, Rondo's Triple Double or Williams 57 points and 69% say Rondo's Triple Double. Every State (Including NJ 58%) picked Rondo and it has almost 30,000 votes.

That surprises me because i thought 57 points would get more love than that i guess.

 1) Chris Paul - Alpha dog. Does it all.
 2) Deron Williams - Mismatch all day. Better leader than Rose.
 3) Derrick Rose - Needs to become a better passer
 4) Rajon Rondo - Can't shoot
 5) Russell Westbrook - All the talent, none of the mentality makin it rain since 2004 makin it rain since 2004

 APG - Rondo 2nd, Williams 6th, Westbrook 24th

 That's maybe how?
 Westbrook 726
 Williams 679
 Rondo 329

No shit they have more points when they shoot the ball twice as often as he does. Rondo averages 14 per game on less than half as many shots. I haven't checked how many PPG West and Williams have, but I'm sure it's not more than 28.

And, he passes! And, he rebounds!

 I just don't see how it's close."CFB YTD: 5-8-1 -16.2"

It's who's the best "point guard", not who's the best scorer. If it was, I'd agree that both are better at scoring than Rondo.Originally posted by kbsooner21 View PostWestbrook 23.7

Just your ignorance showing if you can't see how either can have votes. Not that I'm surprised...

And you can keep throwing PPG out there. Like I told you already, when you shoot the ball more than twice as much, you should score at least twice as much."CFB YTD: 5-8-1 -16.2"

I know Mavs, I just thought it was ridiculous to say you couldn't see how either one could have a vote. I could make a case for each guy on the list.Originally posted by mavskidd02 View PostIt's who's the best "point guard", not who's the best scorer. Maybe you could, but I couldn't. I guess we look at it differently.Originally posted by kbsooner21 View PostI know Mavs, I just thought it was ridiculous to say you couldn't see how either one could have a vote. I could make a case for each guy on the list.

I think when people bring up who's the best "at this position" ; you should look at who plays the position the best, as opposed to who's the best player or scorer who "happens to play that position."

Two different ways to look at the same thing. I just never think of West as a pure PG. He's just a great scorer who people say plays point guard."CFB YTD: 5-8-1 -16.2"
