Honestly, if i had to choose, it would be Hunter or players. I know the owners have dished out the cash in that previous system and they were at fault for doing it but just look at what these guys were making. It was flawed when compared to other sports and i believe teams were losing money. Salary caps didn't seem to matter as teams kept buying, players were choosing teams and guys who were the 10th-12th man on the bench were making $5,$6,$7 million a season.

It was/is broken and i think it needs to be brought back down to reality a little bit in this economy. It just does.

As soon as the players see and understand that, they will play again.

they(players) get paid a salary am i correct?.....and a hefty one at that.

If it's anything like the NFL Bryan, it's for things like retirement/pension and medical coverage and things like that, for all players no longer in the league.

well if its about retired players then that is an arguement i can kinda understand.

but if its about revenue sharing as is what is being reported then i say F the players. these guys make a living playing a sport. 99% of us would give a limb to do something like that. The players should make as much money as possible but IMO sharing teams revenues with players is BS. If a player wants to earn revenue buy interest in the team. make an investment.
