Troy is the first of three Sun Belt teams to take the field in this postseason, a first for the league. The Trojans’ top playmaker is WR Jerrel Jernigan, who takes the occasional direct snap as well. QB Kory Robinson’s other weapons include TB Shawn Southward and WR Chip Reeves. The Bobcats will need safeties Donovan Fletcher and Steven Jackson to generate takeaways. Ohio is still seeking its first bowl victory but is making its third appearance in the last five seasons. QBs Boo Jackson and Phil Bates do most of their damage on the ground, and the Trojans’ rush defense can be exploited.
