Might be the best poll question ever, made me really think, I gotta go with World Series, long season and your biggest star that you depend on plays 2 times, or maybe 3 if it goes 7.

Baseball is eliminated because there is no salary cap. As a Red Sox fan, you would think i would say baseball after the 86 year drought but no. No salary cap makes it much easier than all others to build or buy a championship team.

As far as the other 3 go, NHL and the NBA allow 16 teams in the playoffs and the NFL only has 12. The NFL is also the only one of the four with a one and done format. You can't lose and you can't have a bad game and still move on. You lose once and you go home. You also need 53 men on the same page to win a title and sports like the NBA, you can have 1 or 2 superstars and pull it off.

For me, it has to be the Super Bowl i guess!

I agree with most of what your saying, but I'm a Twins fan and they have done well with one of the lowest payrolls, along with some other small payroll teams, money doesn't guarentee a title. I would say 10 of the last 20 winners would be lower payroll teams. This is why I like this poll, normally I make my pick and I'm done, but i could switch with a good statement like you said reguarding the NFL, but why does it seem that one man, normally a QB, wins multiple super bowls? I also agree the NBA is out. This question puts Savages questions to shame

You have to win 16 games to win a cup,,,but the Super Bowl is pretty tough as well,,just ask Cleveland.

I may have misunderstood the question, or looked at it in a different way. I was looking at the event only, not how you get there. From the way I saw the question, the super bowl is a 1 game event, and once your there, anything can happen, and a lot of time the best team doesn't win. But if you look at the season as a whole plus the championship, I would say the Super Bowl. All the other sports have the best of series, and normally the better team wins.

Superbowl, you have to play 18 or 19 games to get there, the last 2 or 3 sudden death, then you only get one shot at it. Every game matters in the NFL, a 3 or 4 game losing streak pretty much ends your season, a 3 or 4 game losing steak in the others is meaningless.

Hockey is brutal, as are NBA and baseball, but in all of those its a best of series. While we all know it doesn't always work that way, the better team should have the advantage in a series, plus there is home field factor that is not present in the NFL.

All of these lead me to the Superbowl being the toughest win.

                          Stanley Cup...

The talent pool is ridiculously diluted by the salary cap and the number of teams left leaves a marathon type of post season. The fact that there have been more reverse sweeps and is usually at least half of the teams that advance after the first round are dogs leads me to believe it's the hardest to win.

Tough call ... it is between the Super bowl and Stanley Cup ... If you asked me a couple of years ago I would say hands down the SB ... but now that I got really interested in the NHL it may have changed my mind ... If I had to make a call I would actually go with the Stanley Cup ... Long season ... lot's of traveling ... playing that physical sport every couple of days ... has to be tough on them ...

                            Good Poll Wayne

If the Blackhawks were the same shitty team like they have been with my Bruins for most of the last 40 years, you wouldn't be saying that.

They win a Cup and now it's the toughest?
