any believers yet that the colt defense is a lot better than people were giving them credit for?
watching the game i was trying to think who i wanted the colts to play, and neither team impressed me at all. no way no should have beaten the vikings. favre was favre (mistakes), the officials were terrible (for the saints), and the vikings out gained the saints badly. all this was at new orleans!
if you didn't follow what i said about manning having his way with the "great" pressure defenses of the ravens and jets, lets look at mannings record againt the saints defensive coordinator.
6 games, 110.7 QB rating, 13 TD'S, 4 int's, 295 ypg, 68.9 comp%, 7 sacks, 5-1 record.

how many total yards did the saints get AT HOME against minn? does anyone think they are going to be +4 turnovers against manning? havent the saints been pretty bad the past month except one game against a team the colts spanked on their home field this year.“A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have."

Husker -- Im not a fan of either team, but lets face the facts here ... the Colts have NO run game, and in big games you need to establish the run ... as much as you want to believe the colts are going to win its not going to happen .. I was wrong about the Jets but this time Im not ... New Orleans has been waiting for this day for a LONG TIME and they are not going to get dissapointed ... The Colts are going down ... Get it through your head !!

when you have the greatest QB ever in the nfl, who needs a top running game! this isn't the nfl of 10 years ago.

First of all.. Peyton Manning is not the greatest QB ever, thats for sure .. Secondly I didnt say you needed a top running game, I said you need to have a running game, which the Colts do not have ...Originally posted by husker View Post
My biggest reasoning for liking the Saints is the emotional factor which the Saints have a 100% advantage, just because of what that city has gone through, and I think that alone will get that team hyped up and we will see a different defense come Super Bowl... win easy and cover as they did previous 2 playoff games. They ran the ball better than the Jets and the Jets run it better than the Saints. The Saints offense is just not playing at level it did a month ago and I love Drew Brees being a PU man. But Manning is the king and he will not let the Colts lose. The emotion means nothing in fact it will probably hurt the Saints as they will be too jacked. Manning will put 28 pts min on board and I see no way the Saints more than 17 on the board. The Colts D is much better than the public thinks and the Saints offense is much worse right now. Take it to the bank the Colts win 31-17, as the Colts sit on the ball in 4th and keep score down. It will be a snoozer!
