It's like being afraid to bet against your favorite team in any sport. $$$ and winning is the goal, right?

    I agree 100%

I drafted NY Yankees in my 3 MLB Fantasy League's without thinking twice about it. I don't care if i like or cheer for them when it comes to Fantasy Sports. All i care about is winning.

Wayne, I totally get where you are coming from, and this has nothing to do w/ me being a Georgia homer and thinking Stafford will come in and pick things a la Matt Ryan. That said, Calvin had Dan Orlovsky throwing the majority of his passes last year, with Kitna and Daunte sprinkled in. Those three combined for a QB rating under 70 last year.

I thought the same thing last year and traded Calvin early in the season, only to see him pile up the numbers. In our league he finished as the 3rd best WR, and I don't see what changes for the negative this year. Calvin was getting double teamed all last year and it didn't matter.

Last year most of Calvin's numbers were in garbage time, when the team was down and they had to stop running and just threw it every down. More of the same probably this year too.

Most NFL insiders say Calvin is easily the most gifted WR in football, a once in a generation set of skills. Stafford, if nothing else this year, has a gifted arm to get the ball to him. Calvin doesn't need 8 catches to get 100 yards and a TD. He can accomplish that in two or three catches.

By comparison, last year Calvin had 1330 and 12 TDs, Fitz had 1430 and 12 TDs, Andre had 1575 and 8 TDs.
