Who Would You Take With the 2nd Pick in FFB?

People are overreaching with MJD. I know he doesn't split carries, but there is no way he is the second best back in FFB imo. I picked Turner first with Forte and Williams a close second and third.

The way I look at the backs is like this...

MJD is going to be the only REAL option on his team. He catches lots of passes which aren't quite as hard on the body as trying to run through and around big guys.

Almost all of Turner's yards are going to come from being fed the rock behind the line of scrimmage where he is going to take a lot of pounding. Sure he's going to get ridiculous numbers of carries. But the pounding he's going to take is going to slow him down near the end of the season.

Of the 3 you have up there I prefer Forte. Outside of the Vikings he's in a great division for a running attack. With Cutler's addition he should be able to not have to run against 8 in the box constantly (unlike Turner). Particularly if Hester can prove early that he's a viable receiver. The other question over there is whether that team is going to be able to run block. I've heard some things about the line being a pass blocking line. If so that will definately change where he sits in the draft when I get that sorted out.

Williams simply scares me. That Carolina team overacheived IMO. Fox is going to feed him carry after carry hoping that sooner or later he's going to break something. I guess I'm not sold on the guy.

I hate the #2 pick this year. If I get it, I may even draft Fitz. The only positive thing is when the 2nd and 3rd rounds come around there will still be good running backs available.
