College football no doubt Saturday mornings in the fall are awsome.Out getting breakfast and a newspaper by 8 a.m,eat while getting picks on BC,gameday at 10:30 and football all day long starting at noon. What a day
Its college foots on Sat. for me. More games a definite plus, I coach high school football and the kids like college more so we get some good trash talking going on. Also which I think is a big is the price difference in going to a game. I try to go around 3 college games a year, usually 1 or 2 Notre Dame games, Univ of IL, and a Norhtern IL game, and going to 3 of those games will cost me only a little more than going to 1 Bears NFL game. Tix are cheaper, merchandise is cheaper, and gererally the food is cheaper. I like the Nfl, but rather do the college thing if i had to choose.
College football is a joke. Teams play 12 games or so for some off the wall formula to determine two teams to play for the title. Almost every season it leaves a worthy team out of the title hunt. Early season games are basically meaningless. Lose early and you still have a shot. Lose in October and you're done.
