Does a bear shit in the woods? He played with some bad teams along the way and yet still was a big star.
He was also instrumental in helping Red Sox win their first WS in 86 years.
I think he will make it EASILY on the first ballot once he is eligible.

he's in. he's done way to much for the league and 88% of pitchers they play in the MLB wish they had a career like his. Many people don't like that he's been known to open his mouth, but everytime he does he's usually right about what he says. He's in boys.

He is a Hall Of Famer. I don't like his attitude but I cannot arguw with what he did on the field over a very long time including having a 2.23 era in the post season which for a starter is astonishing and awsome. He has 3 rings and almost a 4th ring, definetly an ace pitcher on any staff and a true work horse. HOF'er in my opinion no questions asked!

No way. He should be in the Hall of Very Good. You have to consider his entire record. If you just measured him on his post season performances he would get in on the first ballot. However when you look at him having won only 216 games over a 20 year career I don't think so. My gut feeling is he may one day get in but it may be on the 10th or 11th try not on the first or second attempt.

If he gets in, then Fred ' Chicken ' Stanley should already be in.

No reason other than he played in the Major Leagues too.
