The Mets Closers were 3rd Worst in all of baseball last year with 29 Blown Saves. Only St Louis and Seattle had more with 31. The Phillies were 4th Best in baseball with only 15 Blown Saves. The Mets Blew 14 more saves than the Phillies and they only lost the Division by 3 games. I do like the Phillies but i really think K-Rod makes a HUGE difference this year. Only time will tell but i chose the Mets!

Anybody else have a real good feeling K-Rod goes down early in the year with an injury. I mean this guy pitched more, than a lot of people expect to pitch. IMO, he will get hurt, or not be nearly as effective. However, living in NY, bullpen was all everybody whined and bitched about last year, so if the Mets can't do it this year, then they simply can't do it.Originally posted by weazel079 View Post
