That was the first chance I had to watch B. Griffin except for sportscenter highlights...he seemed pretty much over matched? I know he was injured, but when did he get the concussion? On the bus to the game? Not very impressive, but everyone says he is the easy player of the year, so I will hold off my impressions for a couple more games...

pitt will be tourney tough cause they play best competition.

I think Louisville will make a deep run this year. They have played tough teams all year being in the big east, they have a deep roster they have 8 guys that play over 10 min a game, and have a good coach in Pitino. They only thing that they dont have is that go-to guy, which u need most of the time to win it all. Also like Pitt alot, saw them play last year in the NCAA tourney 1st and 2nd round in person and they were impressive even though they lost 2nd round, they have almost everyone back from that team.

yea thats what happened to them last year they got hot, played 4 days in a row in the big east tourney then was wore out 2nd round of the tourney. I think its really anyones tourney this year would not be surprised if a 4 or higher seed won it all this year...imo

Actually watched him play 11 minutes with 2 points and 2 turnovers. I know this guy is good, but, as I stated, this is the first chance to watch him play and well...HE Sucked. He got an imaginary concussion after he was being dominated. Now. As I also said, maybe he will show me something different the next time. Huge Pitt fan and I go to every home game and have gone to every game since they opened the Petersen Events Center. This team is so different than all the other teams that they have had the past 5-8 years. IMO this is the team that has the greatest potential to push Pitt into the ELITE status as a college basketball program. They are deeper and more athletic than any team that I have seen.
