This discussion has always been like Politics or Religion. If you are a fan of a N.L. team, you hate the DH and if you are a fan of the A.L. team, you love it. Most usually stick with their side and nothing will change their mind.

YES---Adds a 250 plus hitter that HITS for a living.
Putting most Pitchers in a batting situation is a waste IMO.
How many pitchers hit over .120 a year---Stats anyone.

Yes--adds more offence and excitement to the game--and I think it is a good idea to give the great hitters more time after thay can't play D..( only if they stay off the extra medication)

I'm a fan of the only team in MLB that plays with a DH that would rather play without 1 (the Twins). I dont have much of an opinion other than the fact that I feel that all ball players should have to round their game out more. Pitchers should work more on hitting and hitters should have to play better defense. So I'm going...No DH.

Ironically, I took summer school this past summer, and wrote a 10 pg paper on the DH. If I can find my paper on it, I'll post it here for members to read. (it is saved on a different computer) My college offered a baseball class so I took it!

Pitchers should have to have to hit. The NL game is way better, if you like strategy. Double switches, bunts. Does anybody ever bunt in the AL?

No. It takes strategy and fundamentals away from the game.

IF they got rid of it totally Pitchers would be decent hitters in High School 95% of the Pitcher are top 2 or 3 hitters on the team and if they had to hit all the way though the minors no way they would be the 9th hitter on everyteam..

I rather watch 2 80 year olds take a spin around the bedroom than watch a pitcher bat.

The nl game puts me 2 sleep inside of 3 innings all the time(cubs). Totally boooring!!!!!!!!

If baseball stategy ... bunts ... small ball ... double switches and moves put you to sleep you do not like baseball dude ...
