So if Tex can only score 28 at home, i doubt they'll hang fifty in Lubbock. Those are just my thoughts. I'll be on Tech unless I see something big that changes my mind.
Kansas is no comparison to Texas on O and def not on D. O K State and Jokelahoma have powerful offenses 2! yeah, maybe Tech can win, but i don't think it's gonna be as easy as you think! they aren't play'n TAMU, KANSAS or NEBRASKY! JMO!

I think doing it twice is easy. Doing it 3 times is tough and it showed last week with a tough 4 point win at home. Doing it a 4th week is asking alot and unlike the 1st 3, this one will be on the road. I also think Tech has the best defense they have had in years. All in all, i think Tech has a great shot to win this at home.

I was waaaay wrong about the Tech/KS game this last week. I had watched both play the previous week and thought Kansas was the better team. Then Tech just dismantled the Jayhawks on the road!. Here's another thing...weird things happen in Lubbock. I'm just saying..I've seen em. I also think this will be a hard-fought offensive battle. I'm like you, Wayne. I'd like Tech a lot more at 6 or 7, but I kinda like em at 4.5 which is what I have at my book now.

Very good points indeed. On the road in Lubbock is a big key here as Garth mentioned as well. That place will be freaking ROCKING under the lights.

It's not just football. My oldest son played for an NAIA school his junior and senior year in baseball becuase he had a future ex-wife in Oklahoma and couldn't accept any of the D-1 offers far away he received. Lubbock Christian University was in their conference. a dude from LCU and I were thrown out of a game in Lubbock because some folks had to break up a fist fight he and I were involved in over some umpire calls. Lubbock is a brutal place to play in any sport.

This is the only thing leaning me to Texas.Texas put up 45 points against Oklahomas Defense. What do you think there going to do to TT.Final score 51-31 Texas Longhorns.

TEXAS with better D and bigger bodies will take care of business.
(T TECH can't score if their QB and recievers are on the ground)

I'm wit ya this week, Tech's "D" can't hang for 4 qtrs like OSU's did.
Texas pulls away in the 2nd half after a hard fought 1st half, just like they did against the Sooners.

                              Texas's depth will rule.
                              updated thru 4/04 play

                              CFB: (0-1) 1.05 units
                              NFL: (0-0) 0.0 units
