Love the Jets this weekend...I would take them without Favre with no Brady so having Favre is an even greater benefit IMO...

I think Cassell will be terrible, but he was ok in week 1. It will be really interesting to see how the Patriots do with Cassell. I think Favre versus Cassell is the difference here, with the rest of both teams being fairly balanced. Crazy how much difference an All Pro QB makes.

I'm very curious how NE fares the rest of the season. Bill's coaching record is not very good prior to Brady becoming his starting QB.

The numbers are fairly staggering. Belichick was 36-44 with the Browns; the Patriots were 5-11 in 2000, Belichick's first year, sans Brady. And they lost their first game in 2001 (sans Brady). That's a total record of 41-56 with one playoff appearance and no victories....

Starting with Game 2 of the 2001 season, Brady has started every game for the Belichick-led Patriots. Since then, New England is 86-25 in the regular season with three Super Bowl titles.

                    Clark: What's steroids?
Richie: Something that makes your pee-pee smaller.
Clark: There must be steroids in macaroni!

I'm not a Pats Homer but this is a classic let down
situation for the Jets, thinking they only have to "Show
Up" to win. Pats step up with extra team effort and
                      could kick their Ass!

No way the Jets let down against their most hated rival. If they lose, it will bebecause the pats were the better team. They will look to kick a dog while it is down....but will they kick hard enough?

I disagree, I lost Brady in my fantasy league and picked up Cassell with full confidence. Belichick knows his QB and now that he's taking snaps with the first team and the game plan is focused on Cassel, Bill will have him & the team prepared to play.
And I feel the D will step up and fuck with Farve to the max.
There is no love loss between these teams and mark my words....PATRIOTS BY A TD!!!!!!!
Nothing is as far away as one minute ago.
