I wish I had played the opening line of -3. I think the correct line on this game is closer to -6, but I hate chasing line movement.
Still, SMU is the superior side here, but more important is that UAB seems to have given up on the season. The bizarre loss to Rice has had this team in a fragile emotional situation, and they seem not to care. Not to mention the defense hasn't been able to stop anybody, and SMU's Willis (a freshman who missed several games at the start of the season) is an incredible talent. SMU has playmakers all over the field, and while UAB can run the ball fairly well, they have almost no playmakers.Records:
