Tampa Bay vs New York
The Yankees did not look great in their opening series against the Blue Jays, but they still split the four games. The Rays pitched very well against the Red Sox, but still lost three of their four games. The Yankees were a solid home team last year and they have a huge edge on the mound in this one. Blake Snell pitched well in his opener, but that was at home and he was 2-4 with a 3.76 ERA on the road last last year, while Luis Severino was 8-5 with a 3.71 ERA at home last year and he has gone 5-1 with a 2.83 ERA in his career against the Rays. I look for the Yankees to take this one easily and we top it off with the fact that the Rays are just 8-23 in their last 23 games here in New York.
Prediction: New York -1.5
