Pittsburgh vs Colorado
The Pirates are the play here. They are clearly then better team with the better starter on the mound and the much better bullpen. The Rockies have a solid offense, but their pitching just isn't there and Jorge De La Rosa has struggled out the gate with a 9.87 ERA overall, including an 8.43 ERA here at home. Gerrit Cole is the ace of this Pittsburgh staff and comes in with a 2.70 ERA so far. Lets note that the Pirates are 13-3 in Cole's last 16 starts vs the NL West, while the Rockies are 48-100 in their last 148 games vs. a starter with a WHIP less than 1.15 and 5-14 in their last 19 games vs the NL Central. Go Buccos.

Houston vs Seattle
I like the Under in this game. Dallas Keuchel is not a great pitcher on the road, but the Mariners have averaged just 2 rpg at home so and have hit just .198 off of southpaws here at Safeco, so I can see Keuchel having a strong outing in this one. Houston has averaged 4 rpg on the road, but they still hit just .232 vs righties away from home and were able to score just 2 runs in game one, plus Nate Karns allowed just one ER in 6 innings in his lone starts vs the Mariners, which was last year. The Under is 22-8-1 in Keuchel's last 31 starts with 4 days of rest, while the Under is 6-1-1 in the Mariners last 8 games following a win. Take the low road with this one.
