I had a split last night. Just one for tonight.
Colorado vs San Francisco
I Know Giant home games are usually low scoring, but I just don't see it being this low tonight. Kyle Kendrick is not a good pitcher and he comes in with a 6.54 ERA overall, including a 5.55 ERA on the road. He has also faced the Giants twice this year and has allowed 9 ERs in 13 innings over the two starts. Kyle is 3-2 in his last 7 starts, but with a very high 8.02 ERA in those games. 11.71 rpg have been scored in those 7 games.
Chris Heston started out very strong for the Giants, but has a 4.64 ERA in his last 7 starts overall and an 8.30 ERA in his last 2 starts at home. He faced the Rockies once here this year and allowed just 1 ER in 7 innings, but that was back in April when he was pitching very well. He has faced the Rockies 3 other times this year and allowed 14 ERs total in the 3 starts, but all three were at Coors Field. Still I see the Rockies doing some damage vs him tonight and All we really need is 3 runs from the Rockies here.
Kyle's road starts have averaged 8.69 rpg, while Chris' home starts have put up 7.93 rpg and the Over is 6-2 the last 8 meetings. Look for at least 9 runs in this one.
