Had a nice little 2-0 sweep last night.
Toronto Blue Jays vs Atlanta Braves
Going back to the well one more time with these two teams and take another Over. Last night The Blue Jays broke out of their mini 2-game hitting slump by putting 9 runs on the board. A big reason for their 2 game hitting slump was the absence of Encarnacion, but he returned to the lineup last night and went 3-3 with a run scored. Having him back really helps and they should continue their onslaught on a Braves staff that has allowed 5.5 rpg in their last 10 games.
Matt Wisler comes in struggling as he has a 9.92 ERA in his last 4 starts. I know they has has allowed just 4 ERs total in his 2 home starts over that stretch and 14 ERs in his 2 road games, but still he has a 5.03 ERA in his last 4 starts at home. He is too inconsistent to think that he will be able to shut down this highly motivated Toronto Offense.
Marco Estrada has a 3.67 ERA on the road, but e also has a 4.24 ERA in his last 3 starts and he has gone just 5 innings in each of his last 2 starts and that should bring into play a struggling Jays Pen that has a 4.86 ERA in it's last 10 games.
The Clinchers: Atlanta has gone 20-8-1 to the Over in their last 29 vs a righty, while the Jays have gone 13-4 to the over in their last 17 road games.

Houston Astros vs Texas Rangers
Could the Astros be running out of gas? Houston has now won just 4 of heir last 14 games and last night they sent out their Ace (Keuchel) and all Texas did was tag him for 9 ERs on 11 hits in 4.2 innings of work. Texas has now taken apart the Houston Staff for 25 runs in the first 3 games of the series. Not good for Houston, who has now relinquished first place in the AL West for the first time in a while.
Houston sends out Colin McHugh, who is just 1-5 with a 4.93 ERA on the road this year, while Houston as a team has lost his last 8 road starts. Colby Lewis has been good at home, where he is 7-2 with a 4.58 ERA and yes he allowed 7 ERs in his only meeting here with Houston this year, but still the Rangers won the game 12-9.
Some trends that are not in favor of Houston are: The Astros are now 14-37 in their last 51 games here and 14-38 n their last 52 on the road, while Texas is 21-5 in their last 26 at home and 7-1 in Lewis' last 8 starts vs Houston. All signs point to Texas here.
