Speed horse takes a big class drop from allowance to conditioned claimers. Trainer 9-for-19 at the meet. Turnback to six furlongs a plus.

Arlington Park Race 6 Play #5 You Dancing Devil
This is a grass stakes restricted to Illinois-bred fillies. This horse raced competitively last year versus open company and meets much softer today. She ran OK in her first start of the year four weeks ago versus open company and that race appeared to be a set-up for this stakes.

Results

I ground out a small profit with one winner and two second placers in three plays. Unfortunatley, the winner was the shortest priced horse.

Roma Royale won paying 3.20 and 2.20
Notable Tiger finished a non-threatening second, paying 3.80 to place
The hard luck one was You Dancing Devil, nailed just before the wire at 4-1. She paid 4.40 to place.

Cashed: $68

Profit: $8

In two weeks, I'm now five for eight winners with three seconds and a $90 profit. I'll keep up the running tally and likely post every Saturday.
