HORSE TRAINER PROB JOCKEY ODDS*
COMMENT
Adieu T. Pletcher J. Valezquez 3-1
The Frizette Stakes has produced the Juvenile Fillies winner seven times, most of any prep race. Hottest trainer/jockey combo.
Along the Sea R. Zinadie J. Castellano 20-1
She's 0-for-2 against both Folkore and Adieu
Ann Summers Gold SCRATCH
Diamond Omi B. Baffert D. Flores 10-1
She’s certainly got a pedigree for this race, this day and this distance and the right trainer calling the shots.
Dressed to Kill G. Weaver 30-1
Making 1st dirt start.
Ex Caelis DW Lukus G. Stevens 20-1
2nd in 2 stakes starts. Filly has a wonderful pedigree for the distance
Folklore DW Lukus E. Prado 7-2
She’s done absolutely nothing wrong in six starts from five to seven furlongs
Keenland Kat K. Breen J. Bravo 30-1
Most recently finished third to Adieu and Along the Sea in the Grade 1 Frizette at Belmont, her graded stakes debut, soundly beaten.
Knights Temper D. Vella 15-1
Canadian making US stakes debut.
Miss Norman S. Gonzalez 50-1
Lacks any race saying she can compete.
Original Spin A. Mitchell TBD 6-1
Perfect 2-for-2 record in her career. Solid win in last start deserves respect.
Sensation S. Hough E. Coa 10-1
A winner in three of four starts, all in New York – including two at Belmont Park. 2 Fast wins at Belmont. Distance a question.
She Says it Best V. Foley E. Martin Jr 15-1
Won on speed track last time out.
Wild Fit J. Mullins A. Solis 6-1
The Oak Leaf has been the tell-tale prep race in recent years, producing two straight Juvenile Fillies winners.
ANALYSIS:
A large field with a lot of early speed, post position could make difference. Don’t want rail or far outside. Could be 2 horse race with Folklore and Adieu.
LIFE LONGSHOTS:
Keeneland Kat rallied for 3rd in Frizette going very wide. Sensation has won 3 of 4 starts at Belmont. Along the Sea only beaten by 2 lengths by Adieu in Frizette.
MONEY MATTERS:
If I was a favorite player I would exacta box Folklore and Adieu big. But I am not, key the 2 over the 3 longshots mentioned, then run it back. Also box the three longshots. If I play a trifecta, will try to bet the favs by keying the 3 longshots over all 5 of the horses in the 2nd and 3rd position. Would play Folklore, Adieu, and Sensation in early pick 4.
(money matters is not guaranteed what I will play)
