Per our speed figures report, the top contenders for this race include PRIVATE BANKING (5-2), MASHINA (7-2) and ROYAL WAVE (10-1). The most likely winner of these three might come as a surprise.
I believe that ROYAL WAVE at 10-1 is not only the filly to bet, but she really is the filly to beat. Our top three contenders last raced each other in the Grade 3 Senorita Stakes at Hollywood Park. ROYAL WAVE finished 8th with figures of 96-98-101+ at the 105 level. She beat PRIVATE BANKING who finished 9th as well as MASHINA who ran 10th and last. ROYAL WAVE next ran in the Grade 2 Honeymoon Breeders' Cup Handicap. This filly ran better than one might expect earning figures of 108-113-100+ versus 107 level fillies. ROYAL WAVE is a nice filly and should appreciate the drop back in with allowance company. ROYAL WAVE also gets to shorten up to one mile after racing nine furlongs in the Honeymoon.
I will play ROYAL WAVE straight as today's spot play and use the other contenders PRIVATE BANKING and MASHINA to complete the exotic wagers. Good luck!
