I have a horse running at Keeneland tomorrow from my list, Palique.
Unfortunately he has been shipped to Keeneland. I haven't had the oppertunity to look into it yet. If you get a chance do you mind taking a look?

I have a horse running at Keeneland tomorrow from my list, Palique.
Unfortunately he has been shipped to Keeneland. I haven't had the oppertunity to look into it yet. If you get a chance do you mind taking a look?
He' s a 5-1 ml.

THis looks like a tough field...

The top turfers using my turf ratings:

1 Clerpark 20-1 (Part of Entry)
3 Ershaad 4-1
6 Not Phone 5-1
10 Palique 5-1

1 Clerpark 20-1 - faced a fast pace at GP last out (half in 46.3) and won as the 1-1 favorite desptie being steadied in the first turn... retains John Velazquez for trainer Pletcher... hard to pass on those connections at this price.... and is 2 for 2 over the turf in his lifetime.

3 Ershaad 4-1 - also ships up from GP and gets Bailey in the irons, makes second US start after being stakes placed in France, also chased a hot pace last out and Bailey is usually tough to beat on the turf (wins about 25% or so over his career, maybe more).

6 Not Phone 5-1 - loses Bailey, but picks up Stevens. He has shown ability off the layoff in the past and this trainer does do well in this type of situation. Certainly a contender here.

10 Palique 5-1 - will need to come from off the pace here in all likelihood as #1 and #5 are the more than likely front runners. His best front running effort came over the dirt course at Belmont, and otherwise has only been on the front end over the grass hitting the half in 48.3... very likely to improve here second off of the layoff.

Looks like a lot of value today, just a matter of how to play this one.

I'll review the race after scratches and/or if it comes off the turf.... that would certainly change things!

According to the Keeneland site, the main track is muddy, the turf course if firm.... in the 6th scratch POE 1a Farnum Alley.
