Some thoughts on the big races of the day:

Santa Anita Derby - Santa Anita Race 6 - Picks 10-3-4-2
Everyone seems to be on the filly, Sweet Catomine... this is her race to lose here, however I am going to lean towards Wilko at 9-2 who didn't fire at first asking off of the layoff last out BUT has more bottom in his game than Sweet Catomine. Both were champions in the Breeders' Cup last fall (Juvenile & Juvenile Fillies respectively).

Illinois Derby - Hawthorne Race 7 - Picks 9-4-1-6
Kansas City Boy had a horrible trip last out which did not help at a track with an inside bias at 1-1/16mi. Rikman steps up and tries tougher company for the first time, could still improve and handle a stronger pace.

Wood Memorial - Aqueduct Race 9 - Picks 3-4-6-5
Bellamy Road is the chalk here and nows runs for Zito... hard to go against this one as he is tops in all of my figure categories... even after being roughed up at the start last out and winning by a mere 15-3/4 lengths. Survivalist is fresh out of the one turn Gotham and is still going to be a question mark around two turns here.

Trotter, I just mean that my preference as to what horse will win that race is #10, then #3, #4, and #2.... In part I am just a little too lazy to type out all the names for anything but my spot plays!

Couldn't i play all 4 of those horses and if 3 place i win? And if i'm correct about that what is it called? I'm a huge n00b on the horse lingo, I'd probably play it more if I knew what to do....

And yes, great movie (but don't let it fool ya, like i said, I know nothing but the basics when it comes to wagering on horses)
