    Florida Derby Day

    I'm trying to come up with a whole card, but I didn't plan my time wisely so in between handicapping I'm trying to get my tax information together before going to the accountant...,,

    Anyway...here's a play I like alot

    FIFTH RACE

    ITUNA is 6-1ML.- This horse set the pace last time out in this company before weakening and taking the place @1 1/16. (better fractions then 50,000 & 75,000 Clmers that day on the turf) Now the horse is cutting back in distance, and going back to a bug boy with a 5lb weight allowance while, Convincing (beat Ituna last out) is adding 2 lbs . The horse is also in its 3rd race off a layoff.

    The Forida Derby Race 12

    Here I see the logical horses being too short priced so I am taking a flyer with...

    7 PAPI CHULLO @8-1 ML Pretty agressive placing for a Maiden. There has to be a reason. The horses race pattern looks as if this horse has been pointed toward this race. Great speed figures and is the most seasoned at this distance.

    2 B. B. Best @8-1 ML Taking a chance this horse steals the race by getting out front setting a comfortable pace and holding on. I don't see any other horse here wanting the lead.

      I ran my figures on the Florida Derby... all signs point to High Fly, but the great thing about 3 year olds is that they are generally always improving (hence I rely less on my figures for them.... too black and white for me), angles are generally more important at this stage. Tough thing about GP this year is that it is a new surface and I have not gotten my adjustment factors set for that track yet.

      Good luck today, I do like your thoughts on #2, he did catch my eye when I was looking at this race.

        I see some track handicappers like the 5 Vicarage on an exotic ticket.

        If anyone likes this horse please consider the 8 WALLSTREET SCANDAL at a better price 20-1ml. They exit the same race LaDerby and according to what I have read there was a speed bias that day that went against WS's closing style.

                  It's Raining right now and getting Dark Quick.
                  I live about 20 minutes Nortwest of the track.
                  It looks like this shit is going that way.
