Aqueduct Pick 6 carryover

Here's what I came up with... I have my 'contenders' and my 'on the bubble' horses:

Race 4 - 3,6 (1/1a,7,8)
Race 5 - 1/1a,5,6 (7,8)
Race 6 - 3 (1,6)
Race 7 - 6 (1,3)
Race 8 - 1a,6 (2)
Race 9 - 7,9 (4,6)

Just using the contenders, that is 24 combinations ($48, if I remember correctly it is a $2 minimum bet and you can't do $1 with multiple combinations)

If I had to tap the 'on the bubble' horses, I may use the 9th race selections, maybe the 1-entry in Race 4, and the 8 in Race 5.... that ticket would be 96 combinations ($192).

The horse I give the best chance of winning is Race 6 - #3 (9-5)... Honestly I feel he has a 65% chance of winning this race, but am scared by the 1... if you add this to the mix, you are looking at 192 combinations for $384... hard to justify that kind of wager if the day runs chalky.

I think we will need to revisit this after we see the scratches.

After reviewing the scratches, my new ticket would likely be:

R4 - 1/1a,3,7
R5 - 1,5,8
R6 - 1,3
R7 - 1,6
R8 - 1a,3
R9 - 4,7,9

Now this is 216 combinations.... a little too rich for my blood so I'm going to pass on this race... with the likely off tracks, I felt it necessary to add horses to the two races I could have keyed.
