check out a horse called free bonus in the 9th-trained by norris-see if the horse can run on slop or mud-think he was overmatched in the stakes race he was in last time-weather conditions may turn out bad- i watched him break terrible in the stakes race and he made up ground to 4th place against some quality horses-just dont remember if hes run on off track or has the breeding for it-any info appreciated-dont think the public will bet this horse real hard because of last race/being indiana bred/and other top trainers in race-norman-hemel! also any info on the jockey on this horse would be grateful-thanks bignutt!!

Took some time to go over the race....
Free Bonus is a solid favorite and should benefit from a slightly faster track here versus Hoosier (half mile times are deceptively slow from Hoo when trying to analyze the probably pace here). The main threat I see is #5 Follow The Lite who has seemingly run well against solid paces while still getting no respect other than her maiden with in August at AP. #1 Prospector's Bride adds Lasix and comes off of a long layoff so expect some serious improvement here, she may also want to shoot for the lead early. #2 Twixy does appear to have a shot if a pace duel sets up on the front end.
For me there are too many question marks with 4 horses returning off of layoffs and others making a second start off of layoff for this to be playable. Free Bonus does look like the horse to beat here, and I would expect the odds to go no lower than 2-1 here as money will be bet on speculation on how some of the others are going to perform off of the shelf.
Thanks for the head up wayne, I am looking forward to watching this one tonight, should be a good race!
