Since you invoked my name, I'll respond. After having a strong year with my posted picks in 2004 (I was even on ROI which is brutally hard in racing with its huge takeouts), I absolutely crashed on my picks in the fourth quarter of the year and my Pick of the Year didn't even hit the board.

Nonetheless, I consider my self very good at this stuff and will post again soon. However, don't rip Smooth. He's offering up his picks in good faith. If you don't like the picks, ignore them. There was a past poster in the horse section who was very controversial and was accused of stealing picks but Smooth doesn't fall into that category. Good grief----only a few bbrave sould even come into the forum. Even fewer make picks. Let's not drive them away.

Thanks for that reply griswold.... I do like to follow your picks, I just figured everyone was taking a few winter months off for college basketball and to wait for the Derby preps to begin. It always seems like the conclusion of Saratoga signals the end of a lot of horseplayer's seasons... I do look forward to seeing your picks here again soon.
