  • Help..bet i made today

through Bet Atlas Sportsbook on a $2 tri box....1-3-4-7 at Hoosier Park 1st race. It wins & pays $1,250.....now i notice bet Atlas doesnt post the winnings in my account so i call `em and they first tell me that their'source" hasnt reported the outcome of the race yet(was over an hour). I wait another 1/2 hour or so and they still didnt post it, mind you the DRF,Equibase and ESPN have all posted results of that race about an hour ago, i call `em again and now they tell me that they have'limitations' on payouts at certain tracks!!! Of course this is news to my old azz, and they never mentioned anything about racebook limitation payouts when they signed me up,doesnt state there are payout limitations on their website and when i place a bet the only 'limitation' is the amount i can wager..ya know, like $500 to win. When i place a bet on a race it doesnt state that"If i win this race/bet that they will only be able to pay me 1/2"....cuz if it did then i wouldnt have made the darn bet in the first place!! Hahhahaa...the reason behind placing a trifecta bet is..sure, i`m taking a greater risk to....try and win a larger amount! WTF! I am steaming at them right now and i cant get it outta my head! My Question to any of you is has this crap happened to you? And what the heck can i do about it>? Helllppppppppppp!!

Do your homework when it comes to online books concerning racing of any nature . Many do not pay full pay-outs and clearly state that ( in very small print ) within thier sites pages and your agreement with them .

      WooooooooooooooooooooW!

after a few calls and going through the channels....Bet Atlas credits my account in full! I almost pissed my pants when they said it was their fault about nobody on their end telling me about 'payout limitations' and also it not being mentioned on their website. B O N U S ! I wonder how many other offshore books will do that? www.betatlas.com and they do give you a $250 sign up bonus gl!

            collector......

....i would have already except for the fact of Not having online access to all tracks i prefer. Prolly like rest, rather be at the track, and `im new to being online and dunno best ways to get past performance`s other than going to bookstore and getting DRF. Is there a site to get PP`s for free or for a few bucks? I have a small business so time is major factor, THX!

              Digman,

You can get PP's from several places in many different formats... as well as many different prices. You may want to check out each of the following and see what their products look like and how much they charge and decide from there. Trackmaster (has both t-bred and harness PP's in several different formats)... the one I typically use is the trackmaster condensed PP which is $1 a card with no minimum amount to purchase. Equibase also offers PP's, I have never really used them but I do know they have them. TSN and BRISnet are really similar except TSN doesn't have the BRIS power rating and some of the other bells and whistles. They both offer a long list of products.... from here I usually go to TSN for a single data file (.50 each) or BRISnet for the same thing with a few features for 1.00 each. DRF has online PP's and the Formulator (PP's come in PDF whereas Formulator is an .exe file I believe. I haven't used DRF online in a long time, they used to have a minimum daily order of 3 tracks or something... this may have changed.

Hope this at least gets you started!!!
