Let me see if I understand this right

You risked $380 for the day(on dead chalk) to show a loss of $77 for the day.
I always thought you are supposed to get oddz in horses racing, not lay them. If you just bet the chalk to win in the same races, you would have been -$86 for the day. You proved you can bet the chalk and save yourself $9 for the day. I'm not saying you can't make money betting place and show, I'm saying if you bet the CHALK place and show, you can't show a profit. Risking to much to make to little.
