Oh NOOOOOOOO!!!!

While I was busy celebrating my win, I checked my book, only to find out that they pay straight wagers only up to 20-1 odds! So, instead of over $70, they only paid me $40!!!!!

Damn!!!!!!!!!!!!

I need a new book that will pay full track odds on all bets!

How you do usually play these picks? Do you play exacta boxes on all 4 picks each game????

Earlier, I played an exacta box with 4 horses which cost me $12 and only won $7.30! Not a good investment!

Trying to figure out what the best way is to play these....

I tri box first three

for example 1/2/3/4

All to win

Box 1/2 1/3 1/4 4/3 4/2 2/3

I tri box just the just 1/2/3

all at $2.00 so the ticket cost $44

I use Pinnacle as a book and I'm very happy

I'm very new to the ponies so I'm still learning trying to earn my wings

I find this to be the most profitable amongst my wagering in all sports.

$44 per race is a lot... but, if you are up a lot, it does make sense. I have been checking out books now and it looks like Pinnacle does pay the full track odds.. I can't believe mine didn't... I guess I should have checked before I placed the bet there. However, I wasn't expecting to win such a longshot! LOL!

Pinnacle is the place that offers 7% rebates on all your wagers, so that must be a nice payoff too!

When I first started to wager on the ponies I just did W/P/S then I hit a long shot and I've been used that winning to up the ante to exact picks.

Pinnacle does pay the 7% back regardless if you win or lose.
