    Churchill Downs :

    Race 1

    #1 Clever Maid 6/1
    #8 Cottonuous Peaks 3/1
    #4 Hollywood Fever 5/2
    #5 Special Deed 9/2

#1 Clever Maid will need to make up five lengths on the ML fav in here but last out was coming off a 2 1/2 month layoff and could be tighter today. Filly was a game second two back at Hawthorne in a small stake which earned a TM speed fig good enough to win here and she was better than six lengths clear of the rest of the field that day. Filly owns a solid pace profile throughout with the edge in late pace figures. The 6/1 ML looks more than fair. #8 Cottonuous Peaks made a mild rally while caught very wide last out when switched to the grass for her first go for Vance barn off the claim. Was coming off a career top number earned two back when beating $30K foes by seven lengths. Makes her third start of current form cycle and note Day is off the ML fav to ride this filly.

The play: #1 to win at 4/1 or better. Exacta key of #1,#8 over #1,#4,#5,#8.

    Belmont :

    Race 2

    #7 Ace's Cappella 4/1
    #6 Linda's Future 3/1
    #5 Sunshine Johanne 6/1
    #2 Western Times 6/1

#7 Ace's Cappella gets the call in another wide open race. Was pinched back at the start and overcame the poor start to get up late and beat $40K foes last out at today's D/S. Filly owns a solid pace profile throughout and with a better start today figures to be a [pace factor. Makes her third start of her current form cycle and looks capable of winning right back. #6 Linda's Future invades from Philly for Allard barn that ships live runners here. Raced evenly last out at Penn in a small PA bred stake. Has increased her numbers with each outing and looks well spotted here. #5 Sunshine Johanne beat Alw-1 foes at Philly last out by five lengths and was flattered when the runner up in the race, Stylish N Adorable came back to beat Alw-1 foes in her next start on 6/28 at Philly.

The play: #7 to win at 7/2 or better. Exacta key of #6,#7 over #2,#5,#6,#7.

    Race 8 :

    #3 POWERFUL TOUCH
    #2 ADMIRALTY ARCH
    #5 ROARING FEVER
    #1 SEEK GOLD

#3 POWERFUL TOUCH is the speed and pace profile leader in this allowance field, and has hit the board in "POWER RUN FASHION" in each of his last five starts, including a pair of "POWER RUN WINS" embedded in this recent streak of racing consistency. Jockey Jerry Bailey and Trainer Robert Frankel send him to the post today ... they've hit the board with an impressive 74% of their entries saddled as a team to date, winning at an equally impressive 39% clip!

      2-3-7-9-10 / 2-3 / 1-6 / 4-5-6-9
