    CD Race 1 Clm $8,000 (1:15 et)
    #5 Zig's Quiet Lady 5/1
    #2 Ann's Emblem 2/1
    #1 Knucklehead 6/1
    #6 Racing Ruby 9/2
    Race rating: $

#5 Zig's Quiet Lady was claimed last out by Asmussen barn despite getting outrun by 43 lengths two back when coming back off a layoff. Showed improvement last out when finishing third last out after a wide trip. New barn is 31% winners first off the claim and it's a good sign the high % barn is stepping up the mare up in class. #2 Ann's Emblem earned a career top number last out when drawing off late to beat $8K foes in her first go for Margolis first off the claim. Earned the top last out TM speed fig and owns a solid pace profile throughout with the edge in late pace numbers. Looks capable of winning right back. #1 Knucklehead made a good late run to finish third last out, beaten 1 1/4 lengths for the top spot by Birdie Putt, who came back to beat $10K foes in her next outing on 5/14 here.
The play: #5 to win at 4/1 or better. Exacta key of #2,#5 over #1,#2,#5,#6.

    CD Race 2 Md $15,000 (1:45 et)
    #3 Readaboutme 3/1
    #1 Beating Michigan 5/2
    #8 Yesterdays Wine 4/1
    #7 Miss Jeannie G. 10/1
    Race rating: $

#3 Readaboutme bobbled at the start and then was sent up to prompt the early pace and faded badly to finish 27 lengths behind the winner in her local debut. She flashed good early speed two back at Oaklawn, catching a dead rail and fading to finish fourth while beaten only 3 1/2 lengths for the top spot. Looked to be headed in the right direction before last debacle and her last start is just too bad to believe. #1 Beating Michigan was beaten double digit lengths in her first two starts and drops in for a tag for the first time today for Foley barn that is 23% winners with horses dropping in class. Should benefit from the easier company today and picks up Bejarano. Mare has dropped three other foals to race including multiple stakes winner Beatmichiganagain.
The play: #3 to win at 7/2 or better. Exacta key of #1,#3 over #1,#3,#7,#8.

    The Proffesor :

    RACE 6

1-Dogleg Left 7-2-A wide-open maiden claimer. This Unbridled's Song colt removes blinkers while dropping in for a claiming tag for the first time. Was outrun in both career starts but flashed good speed in his debut at Keeneland. Exited key straight maiden race in his last start. May wakeup at his 15-1 ML odds with Calvin Borel riding for trainer Bobby Barnett.
2-First At Last 7-2 -Is winless in 14 career starts but hit the board in his last 4 starts, earning some of the best speed figs in this field. Today's distance should suit him to a tee. Looks best on paper but beware his lack of desire to win. John McKee rides for trainer Bob Holthus.
7-Mountain Ridge 4-1 -Lukas trained colt drops to new low claiming level. Didn't fire at Aqueduct in his first start for a claiming tag last time out. Has worked 4 times since that April race. His best race was at this distance four races back. May threaten with a repeat of that effort. Brian Hernandez will be the new rider.
10-Skydive 4-1 -Nick Zito castoff jumps a notch in class after finishing 2nd at this level in last race. It was a good effort considering he was rushed into contention after breaking very slowly. May be dangerous with any improvement for new trainer Chuck Simon. Shane Sellers keeps the mount despite change in management.
12-Organizing Chaos 6-1 -Is winless in 15 starts but hit the board 8 times. Finished 4th at this level in his first start for a tag last time out. Outside chance to score but is a good candidate to hit the board. Rafael Bejarano up.
