  • Arlington Value Plays :

3rd race -- #4 Champagne Doll -- Steps up in class off a solid, runner-up performance behind a class dropping winner. While others are not on top of their game, this gal appears to be headed in the right direction. I was a little surprised by the 2-1 favoritism she received in the morning line, and at that price, she's not nearly as attractive.

Let's play #4 Champagne Doll to win and triple the place bet at odds of 3-1 or better.

8th race -- #5 Flip -- Returned from a 13-month layoff to score a visually impressive, runaway maiden score last out. He’s posted a pair of sharp works between starts, and is finally on the fast track to a productive career. He finds a soft spot for the level, and the one-turn mile suits him just fine.

Let's play #5 Flip to win at odds of even-money or better.

9th race -- #11 Boom a Cat a Boom -- Naturally talented, and he has improved with every start. Finished a clear second behind a very talented winner in Flip last out, and moves to the grass for his two-turn debut today. His mother loved the lawn, and he should too. The only concern is the outside post.

Let's play #11 Boom a Cat a Boom to win, double the place and triple the show bet at odds of 3-1 or better.
