WHISPERING BELLS - This is the only real stalker in the race. Botty drops her down to this class. You don't need too much more from the horse's history to believe this horse should be one of the top contenders at this level. Don't often see a favorable return on investment like +23. This rider/handler tandem has done well together over the last twelve months. This horse is uppermost in earnings per start. She looks sharp in today's affair.
Vulnerable Contenders: #1 ELEGANT FOX (ML=9/2), #5 ALL ABOUT SPEED (ML=5/1), #2 PASS INTERFERENCE (ML=5/1)
ELEGANT FOX - Earned a substandard speed rating last time out in a $12,500 Maiden Claiming race on April 17th. Doubtful to see an improved performance off of that fig. ALL ABOUT SPEED - Disappointing speed rating last race out at Suffolk Downs at 6 furlongs. Don't think this steed will improve too much today. PASS INTERFERENCE - If she goes off close to the morning line of 5/1, I'll have to pass.
WHISPERING BELLS - Analysis shows this filly's last speed number of 61 is as good as any. Don't overlook this filly in your betting.

Should be given a chance - I like the figs from the last contest. Could provide positive profits based on decent recent speed figures with an average of 53. CHEQUER ACCOUNT - Will almost certainly go to the lead and may never look back. Has to be given a chance for this event if only for the strong speed figure posted in the last competition. CHECKMYNUMBER - In fine fettle, and coming back in next to no time again this time out.

I think TROPICKID is a quite good choice. Is hard not to look at based on Equibase Speed Figures which have been strong - 67 avg - of late. This gelding looks strong in this competition since Evans has a solid win percentage with horses going this distance. Ran a very solid last race. INDIANAZONA - Has to be carefully examined for this event if only for the decent Equibase Speed Fig garnered in the last affair. He has strong class ratings, averaging 70, and has to be given a shot in this race. BLACK CANYON - Has been racing well and has among the best speed in the race for today's distance.
