There are three horses with a remote chance to upset the heavy favorite. ROYAL ASSAULT is a progressive colt who has not yet shown his best. He looked great winning the Sir Barton on Preakness Day and figures to take another big step forward here. With no value to be had on the favorite, he is the best value alternative if you are interested in playing to win money and willing to root against a deserving champion. Next on the possible upsetter list is ROCK HARD TEN, who lost his new rider Pat Valenzuela but picked up a capable replacement in Alex Solis. He has the tools to test the favorite with his best race yet. EDDINGTON is better than he has been running and is capable of a big try. He's useful underneath. SMARTY JONES is a deserving favorite and possible superhorse who deserves every accolade he gets. Having said that, they will line up to buy souvenir tickets on him and drive the price to the 2-5 range. No horse is worth that. The way to make money is to beat him, which may well be impossible. Good luck to him and racing as it pursues a Triple Crown winner.

Try playing #6 ROYAL ASSAULT to win and place at 6-1 or greater. Suggest an exacta part wheel using #'s 5-6 / 5-6-8-9 - which will cost $6 for each $1 bet. Also try a trifecta part wheel using #'s 5-6 / 5-6-8-9 / ALL - which will cost $28 for each $1 bet if none scratch.

Anything can happen , but his breeding does nothing to melt my butter at this distance , and add the fact that the ones who do have late-leg (as well as others) will have to contend with the weather as it is .

letswin , I can and am often wrong , but I just cant include him unless its in the ALL catagory in this race .

When i go to the window today and give them the numbers that you posted and tell them i want a 2 super will they know exactly what I mean? I was only taking enough for the race and a mint for you!!!! Thanks will this be your only ticket on the race today? Or will you also play a long shot just for the heck of it? How do your selections today match up with your friend from Kentucky? Sorry hc , was at the local track most the day and now I am hoping you didnt get the wager in after the tremendous upset that I saw coming , but alas not by " Birdsong " of all horses !
