Can you answer a couple questions for me?

I'm new to Horse betting. In fact I've never bet before and I moved right next to a live harness track that offers simulcast as well. I see lots of picks here and I confused about how to bet them. I read the above which explains everything in detail. When I view your post Memphis, and others but I'm not clear if it win,place or show that is suggested or something else.

The pony game is something I know next to nothing about, your bet bet is to talk to Memphis about that. If you're looking to bet the pups, that's different.

Ok thank you for the response. After rereading the wagering method I think I understand a little bit more.

for example:

the # 1 & 2 you like the most and I wager on the others what I like best. Win Place Show/ Trifecta Super etc...

Am I on the right Track?

If I give you a race that is for example

R1 - 43281

I wager the following way

$2 Win on 4
$2 Quinella Box on 4328 = $12 wager
$1 Trifecta Key 4 with the 328 = $6 wager.

The reason for the fifth dog is in case a dog gets scratched in the the top four.
