Monster carryover at Churchill Thursday

One longshot after another came in at Churchill Downs Wednesday, meaning the $261,000 carryover in the Pick Six was NOT hit. In fact, the consolation five of six paid $65,000!

The result: A carryover into Thursday's pool of a whopping $855,000. I don't know if this is the largest pick six carryover in American history, but it has to be close.

that pool will prolly be 2.5-3 million....i forget which track last year i think churchill that had similar carryover and pool ended up at 3 mill

Pick Six hit for $63,000

With the big carryover, the pick six was hit today for a big payout.

Winners came in at 4-1, 5-1, even money, 10-1, 5-2 and 7-2. The 10-1 was the only big longshot and it still paid $63,000. No, I didn't have it (and didn't come close).
