  • Don't Ignore Pollard's Vision

Bred to Love the slop. Trained by Todd Pletcher whose horses always run well in the Derby (although no winners yet). Pletcher won Kentucky Oaks Friday. Ridden by red hot John Velazquez. Tactical speed to lay third to fifth, perfect running position for this race. While his sire is a sprint type, lots of stamina on dam side of pedicgree. Tremendous value going off around 20-1.

    My picks:

    1. Pollard's Vision
    2. Tapit
    3. Read The Footnotes
    4. Borrego
    5. Smarty Jones
    6. Master David

Scariest horse I'm not using at all: Castledale.

You may get 50-1 on this horse

If he doesn't get involved in the speed battle on the front end I give him a little shot. The thing that worries me is that Pletcher has said they are going to send him to the front. I am using the horse just because of the trainer/jock combo.
