Memphis, can you give me an example of the best way to bet one of these races with your selections? Do yuo bet each to win,place and show? any quinella or trifecta boxes? Please help.

That is a very tough question , if you consider that I dont even wager them unless they meet certain critera on the odds board .

When playing I watch the board closely and they must go off @ at least 3:1 or better for me to consider a wager in some cases . I think its useless to even bet on something I can lose and only gain my money back at best . Many times I plunk a small bet on a longshot just to have a little fun and stay entertained .

I see no 4 nag boxes at all , a longshot is just that .... a longshot play nothing more nothing less . Anything in [0] is intended for as much as you can afford to play with a ponie for the odds of a big return and remember that a [ seperates ] it from everything else being said . I have been given nothing thats good inside info today , other than the #8 Texas Brown and I wouldnt be suprised if he went off at 3:2 so its a small :

8/147 ticket ($1 variety) for 6.00 bucks [ Tri & Quin ] = 12.00 & maybe a Super ?

Other than that I will play the tote board for the best odds
